About Brunch

At Brunch, we’re on a mission to get Australian wine into as many Australian households and across the globe as possible. We specialise in data-driven sales and marketing for the beverage and liquor industry, with a team that’s fluent in ‘Wine’.

And yes, we know our stuff, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. We’re a team that works hard, but makes time for a knock-off drink or to eat together on Wrap Wednesday.

You can think of us as an extension of your family or team. We’re here for the success of your business and the industry as a whole.

You’re busy making wine. So let us help you.

What we do & who we help

We're not just another sales and marketing team; we're wine professionals who live and breathe the industry. Our team includes a rich blend of wine buyers, wine marketers, seasoned wine club managers, a viticulturist and a winery owner. This deep knowledge means we understand how to navigate the unique dynamics of the wine industry.

Alongside wineries, we support various other beverage brands (beer, spirits, non-alcoholic and more) with marketing and direct phone sales to drive sales and revenue.

Our story

Brunch began as a conversation around the kitchen table over doughnuts and coffee. It was Melbourne 2020 – in a window when small gatherings were still allowed. COVID-19 had recently hit, cellar doors had closed and wineries needed help.

Friends Charlotte and Kip, who had previously worked together, were both looking for new opportunities. In a ‘Why not?’ moment, they decided to start a marketing agency to support these wineries – former clients of theirs – to sell online.

From humble beginnings, the business grew – and grew up. Frequent conversations with winemakers and owners surfaced more marketing and sales challenges. Over the next few years, the team doubled then trebled, outgrowing their original home in Derby St, Collingwood and relocating to Fitzroy.

In March 2023, Brunch acquired its now legendary direct-to-consumer channel and has become the largest wine sales and marketing agency in the country.

Next stop, world domination. (Just kidding – or are we?!)

Meet the team

Kip McMillan – Director of Marketing

Kip McMillan – Director of Marketing

Kip is the former Head of Marketing at Vinomofo, so he knows a thing or two about marketing, wine…and, well, marketing wine. Kip has over 20 years of marketing experience across the globe, including a year in Amsterdam (just don’t test him on his Dutch). He’s excited about the dynamic energy in the Aussie beverage category especially innovative, local brands. Kip’s ready to toast your success with a glass of shiraz or bourbon whiskey – or challenge you to a round of sparring. Depends on the day.

Charlotte Cels – Director of Sales

Charlotte Cels – Director of Sales

Charlotte (you can call her Char) has over 15 years of experience in the wine industry. Char is the former Head of Business Development & Account Manager at Vinomofo. That’s where she created the direct-to-consumer channel, Vinodirect, which significantly changed how wineries do business with their customers. Flash forward to 2023, when Brunch acquired the channel – now Brunch Direct – in a beautiful full-circle moment. Char recently traded Melbourne for Chicago. If you’re ever in the area, hit her up for a riesling or Campari & soda.
